Roscoe C. Anderson, 49 died in Amboy hospital at 4:10 a.m. yesterday after undergoing surgery Monday.

Funeral services will be held at the Mohm funeral home at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday) and at 3 p.m. at the Methodist church, Amboy. The Rev. Norman C. Miller, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Repose cemetery.

He was born Oct. 12, 1897 in Wayne county, and had been employed at the Sterling steel mill.

His survivors include his widow and six children, William, Robert, John, Bruce, Betty and Nancy, all at home; a brother John, Wayne City, Ill., and two half-brothers, Walter and Carson Anderson also of Wayne City.
