Upon certain occasions, the old man would style himself "Jimmie Pepper," and many will remember him better by that name. Joseph is now living in Mount Vernon, Ill., and William, Timothy and Sally in this township, the latter the widow of Richard Jenkins in 1884 in Wayne, IL.
